How to Play:
All you need to do is get the lowest unique bid for your desired prize and you win!
Lowest Unique Bid:
The lowest unique bid for every prize starts out at one penny - if more than one person bids a penny, then that penny is no longer the lowest unique bid and 2 cents is the new low unique bid. If more than one person bids 2 cents then 3 cents is the next lowest unique bid. And so on and so on. The winning bid could be anything, it could be a penny, or $1.05 even $500.22! Whatever is the lowest UNIQUE bid wins the prize!
How to Bid:
1) Bidding at Bid4Prizes - Click on your favorite prize then enter your cell number and your bid in cents. As an example you want to bid $1.77 on the Plasma TV. Enter your cell number in the phone field and your bid, 177, in the bid field. Last click bid now and bid4prizes will send you a text message telling you whether or not you have the lowest unique bid.
2) Bidding from you cell phone - To bid $1.77 for the Plasma TV - text PLASMA 177 to 81000. If you wanted to bid $0.27 text Plasma 27 to 81000. Then check your cell phone for the Bid4Prizes text message telling you whether or not you have the lowest unique bid.
On April 30, 2007, Bid4Prizes awarded its first ever grand prize award, a 2007 Scion, to Shanelle H. from Maryland. Shanelle won the Scion with a winning bid of 531. Even though she bid 531, she DID NOT pay even 1 penny for the car.
